This Privacy Policy explains how OKBogey handles information when you use the OKBogey golf round-planning and scoring application currently available at mypar.me.

Information OKBogey processes

When you create or use an account, OKBogey may process your email address, authentication identifiers and the golf information you choose to save, such as course selections, target scores, round scores, hole-by-hole results, favourites and home-course preferences.

Google Sign-In

If you choose Sign in with Google, OKBogey uses Google only to authenticate your account. OKBogey may receive basic account information needed for sign-in, such as your email address and account identifier. OKBogey does not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts or calendar through Google Sign-In.

How information is used

Information is used to provide account access, calculate and save personalised Target Par values, store your rounds and preferences, show your round history and analysis, maintain security, and operate and improve the application.

Service providers and course data

OKBogey uses Supabase for authentication and application data storage. Course searches may also use a golf-course data service to find course, tee and hole information. These services process information only as needed to provide their part of the OKBogey service.

Local storage and sessions

OKBogey may use browser storage, authentication session data and service-worker caching so that sign-in and app functionality work correctly and the application can load reliably.

Sharing and sale of data

OKBogey does not sell your personal information. Information is shared with service providers only where necessary to operate the application, authenticate users, store app data or provide course information, or where disclosure is required by law.

Data retention and deletion

Account and round information is retained while it is needed to provide OKBogey. If you want your OKBogey account data removed, you can request deletion through the support contact associated with OKBogey. Data may be retained for a limited period where necessary for security, backup, legal or technical reasons.

Security

OKBogey uses reasonable technical measures and third-party authentication and database services to protect account information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as OKBogey develops. The latest version will remain available at mypar.me/privacy.html.
